Chicago’s Youth

Your time is often more valuable than your money, and supporting those less fortunate with fundraisers isn’t drudgery, we have a blast doing it. We’d love you see you all there (introduce yourself, twitter or otherwise, and I’ll buy you a drink at the after party!)

Food, Drinks & Raffle for 3 Hours

The annual Chicago Youth Centers “College Bound” Fundraiser is Thursday, May 12th at LaSalle Power Company!  You can buy your tickets for $30 at www.cycmetropolitan.com.  Tickets will also be available at the door, but the price increases to $35 if you wait until then.  The price of tickets includes food and drinks for 3 hours and one raffle ticket.

We will be giving away some amazing prizes this year.  Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event and you need not be present to enter, so if you cannot attend but would like to buy raffle tickets please let me know.  Raffle tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20.  I may just buy a few stacks with prizes like these!

Chicago Youth Centers — Background

CYC is the largest, independent youth services organization in Chicago and is dedicated to investing in Chicago’s youth in underprivileged communities to help them realize their full potential from early childhood education to and through college.  CYC welcomes at-risk, low-income youth ages 3-18 into neighborhood-based centers and a residential camp where they receive one-on-one and small group guidance from well-trained CYC volunteers. All proceeds go to CYC to help fund college tours, cultural events, and field trips.
